6000P Series Part Number Conversion
If you have previously purchased a pneumatically controlled 6000 Series Precision Spray Applicator, the part number will be changed on all future orders. Prior systems will be converted to the 6000P nomenclature.
Why do I need a new part number?
- To differentiate legacy 6000 Series systems using the pneumatic pulse frequency generator from the newer electronically controlled systems.
- 6000P Series – denotes systems using the air pulse frequency generator.
- 6000E Series – denotes systems controlled with electronic timing.

What changes when I use the new 6000P part number?
- If you wish to duplicate a 6000 Series Applicator that you are currently using, nothing changes but the part number.
- 6000P part numbering will allow you to update to SMART Metering options while continuing to use the air pulse frequency generator.
- You can now mix the old with the new allowing users who are unable to interface electronically to take advantage of generational refinements in design.
Below you will find a cross reference chart to convert your old Extended Part Number (EPN) for pneumatically controlled 6000 applicators to the updated 6000P part numbering system. All future pneumatic systems will be using the 6000P part numbers.
The part number has changed, but the quality has not.
If you are a legacy user of the 6000 Series Precision Lubrication System, you can still purchase the same system. However, you will need to use the new 6000P part number.
Below are two examples of updated part numbers from the old EPN (extended part number) to the new 6000P.
